Phew!
Just kidding! After a truly harrowing conversation in which I was called by Ohio headquarters and told that NO BLOGGING IS ALLOWED, I panicked I shut it down. But then they just emailed me back to say I had to make it private. So, all is well. If you're reading this blog, you're one of the privileged few that has been specially invited to the party. Comment long and often, we're a small but loyal crowd now.

No blogging? Heavens why? I thought you democrats were all about free speech and hugging and all of such things! Perhaps they want to prevent one of you operatives from revealing the super secret Acorn project? Ha ha, just kidding. Good to have you back, but will be better to have you back in Boston after socialism rears its ugly head in two weeks.
Sonny
What would my blog be without the rantings of the republican right. Welcome to the fold, Sonny!
gimme a SOCI! gimme an AL! GIMME AN ISM! seriously, bring it to me. let's do this, sully. i've never been on a private blog before; it feels like a cagematch.
Hey--I'm glad you're back. Just read that Ariana (Adriana?) Huffington writes the world's most popular blog...but I choose Sullivan. You're better for the heart. Is anybody else feeling scared about the election? I just heard an NPR segment about the populace's fears--they interviewed a roomful of folks from York, PA. One woman said that she feared that if Obama won, the blacks would see it as payback time and force whites from the sidewalks. Where does this fear come from? A black woman said that her fear concerned McCain's campaign allowing people to shout out horrible racist rants...that encourage assassination attempts. Lord Almighty! The country would burn for sure.
Thanks guys, for the support! I love the Huff, so that's an especially nice compliment. And welcome to the cagematch, huntsman.
ahh.
And to get back to Heather's point--yes, I am a little scared about the election. I'm disappointed with the "real America" and "anti-America" talk, and I'm concerned about some of the displays we've seen recently. I'm nonetheless hoping for the best.
